Cheap Family Travel Ideas
Any ideas on how to cover walls and ceilings of a reception site that has restrictions?
I had to find a reception site in my small hometown, close friends and family who were not willing to travel. Also, my wedding budget has gone from $ 7500 to the lowest level / more cheaply as possible (my boyfriend and I are paying for ourselves). So far, my idea of my dream wedding is out the door. I wanted a fall wedding outdoors in an unusual place with a rustic but elegant. Now I have a church wedding in a tradional banquet hall. I'm trying to maximize the decor and such. However, the only room in my small town has ugly wood paneling walls (I guess it has the rustic part of my look: P). I liked the idea of enlightenment (Christmas lights and paper lanterns) and tulle, but the site does not allow any glue / stuck on the walls. Does anyone have any idea? As mentioned before they have a tight budget, so I want a cheap price tag without looking cheap.
had a similar situation to reach some of our friends and took half-timbered and in fact the giant picture frame looking for several pieces and placed in the open position against the wall. that were supported by plain white muslin and flowers articifial were woven skillfully through the net with artificial ivy to give the illusion of a garden wall lattice. painted the shutters and wooden frames pure white with the cheapest white paint they could get. top of the walls that had the pure network using networks as a veil of tulle gathered in an arc in the center. a small power source is placed in a baby pool that was cleverly disguised to look like a pond and a couple of park benches sat on both sides (can be rented). stands of ivy plants and a bow that was covered in ivy and flowers stood in front of the lattice. The overall effect was both charming and tasteful and looked like a garden outdoors.
